The November 2021 housing figures have just been released and just when you thought the housing inventory has reached the bottom, it’s gone even lower. Right now we have less than one month’s supply of housing inventory available. That’s correct, the figure is now .90 months available. New home builders can’t build homes fast enough, as buyers are scrambling to find affordable housing. If interest rates increase as the federal government is planning to do in 2022, some new home buyers will be priced out of the market. In the meantime, home prices continue to increase due to low inventories. If you have been waiting for home price to go down, that;s not going to happen anytime soon.
