Sellers Are Still In Control!

October figures show that the sellers are still in control in the Brevard Housing market and no change can be seen happening anytime soon! The median home sales price in September was $313,500 and for October it has gone up to $327,000. These increases are due to the low supply of housing inventory which is still at 1 month’s supply, the same as September. The median time to contract is at 11 days on the market before going under contract. If a home is priced correctly, it will be under contract really quickly. If a home is on the market for 14 days or more, with no offers, it most likely has been priced too high, or something else is affecting the sale of the home. Even though we are in a strong seller’s market, the pricing of homes is still very important, as we know, any home that’s priced too high won’t sell.
